Luckfox Pico "RKROOT" on uart terminal, tried using 32gb and 16gb sd cards with luckfox pico image

  • When the SD card is not inserted, the information output remains the same as when the SD card is inserted, indicating that the system may not have correctly detected the SD card or that there is a problem with the configuration of the boot loader (such as U-Boot). Check if the burned image version corresponds to the board.
  • i have attached the Luckfox pico picture of the module iam using ,and also the ubuntu image of luckfox pico from where downloaded the image,as per my understanding both are of matching versions

  • Suggest changing to a CLASS 10 SD card and trying to burn it again. The serial port keeps printing RKUART, but it cannot be recognized.Burning reference tutorial: https://wiki.luckfox.com/Luckfox-Pico/L ... d-flashing
  • ok i have ordered the sdcard u have mentioned, the link u have given is for burning spi nand flash images right? shouldnt the link be this https://wiki.luckfox.com/Luckfox-Pico/L ... burn-image for flashing sdcard with image
  • Sorry, I pasted it incorrectly. It should be https://wiki.luckfox.com/Luckfox-Pico/L ... burn-image
  • tried with sdcard 4gb and 8gb of class 10,with the same image, but still the same result on uart "RKUART"
  • Hello, if UART only prints RKUART instructions do not read any storage media, if multiple cards do not respond, there is a possibility that the SD card slot or chip is damaged, it is recommended to apply for after-sales service from the merchant you purchased
  • one more doubt ,previously when i first got the luckfox pico , i connected the usb type c to pc and i unkowingly did the nand flash erase, but as per the spec of luckfox pico it doesnt have nand flash, does it matter ? is this erase which i did first,is now causing the issue to not to boot from sdcard?Image

  • The main control chip of Luckfox Pico has a bootrom to store a piece of factory configuration code, and when sending erase all during flashing, it will notify the bootrom to find the identified device and then wipe it, so there is no effect on the erase operation when there is no storage medium
