Is it possible to use a custom display other than the official luckfox displays with the pico ultra or lyra (i.e a small circular screen). If so what are the requirements for the display (will any 22pin mipi dsi screen work?), and what modifications will be required.

If you're adapting a DSI screen for the Luckfox Lyra, you need to refer to the Lyra schematic to confirm that the 22-pin definition matches. Not all 22-pin DSI screens can be used directly.

You can DIY an adapter board to make it compatible — this way, most 2-lane DSI screens can be adapted.

To modify the configuration, you’ll need the screen's initialization sequence and timing parameters. These are usually provided by the screen manufacturer. Based on that information, you can modify the device tree to light up the screen.
