Omni3576 Boot Time Test - What's the Minimum Achievable Time?
Posted: 2025-09-08 23:52
Hello!
I'm testing the minimum achievable boot time with Luckfox Pico Omni3576 before developing a custom board.
Test Purpose:
- Verify boot time before custom RK3576 board development
- Confirm if Power ON → Camera display output within 3 seconds is achievable
- Perform PoC (Proof of Concept) with Luckfox board
Questions:
1. What's the shortest boot time you've achieved on Omni3576?
- What optimizations did you apply?
- Could you share your measurement results?
2. Has anyone used RK3576 Quick Boot feature?
- SDK v1.1.0 mentions "Added support for RK3576 quick boot"
- Any related documentation or examples available?
3. What's the theoretical minimum time achievable?
- Hardware limitations
- Minimum bootloader time
- Minimum kernel initialization time
Test Plan:
1. Measure default image boot time
2. Remove unnecessary services/drivers
3. Test various boot methods
4. Document and share final achieved time
I'll share the test results with the community.
If you have similar testing experience or data, please share!
Thank you!
