SDDiskTool_v1.78 fails to flash SDK images

  • Hello, since we did not participate in the development of SDDiskTool and it is not open source, we cannot understand the differences between different versions.
We will try to re-package the SD card image so that it can be directly burned using tools like Win32DiskImager or balenaEtcher, making the burning process more controllable. Currently, this solution has been implemented on luckfox aura, and it will be gradually ported to other series in the future.

I own a Lyra Zero W board and the version 1.78 of the SDDiskTool is linked in the luckfox image flashing section (https://wiki.luckfox.com/Luckfox-Lyra/Image-flashing).
Unfortunately this version is not able to flash any SD-card image build with the SDK.
Test: Take a community image, for example "https://github.com/platima/SBC-Images/t ... 20Zero%20W" and choose update.img of the Luckfox_Lyra_Zero_W_2512_Ubuntu.MicroSD.rar archive.
Try to boot, it will fail. Flash the same image with version 1.69 of the SDDiskTool and the Zero W will boot ubuntu.
Strange enough, flashing the buildroot image with 1.78 is working.
And yes, I always check the "SD boot" button!
Hi, I have the same problem, sometimes Windows crashes, I don't recommend this software
first i flash SD card, than I use DriverAssitant to upload firmware over USB to uSD or SPI FLASH
