Greetings.
As the RV1106 states support for the BT.656 output i was wondering if anyone has done any work on getting analog/composite video out using an ADV7391 or similar solution?
There is a breakout board i found,
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008 ... in_prod%3A
but before ordering would like to know if it will work.
Unfortunatelly i have send several requests to fae@rockchip for signing an NDA/accessing the documentation but there was no reply
Any helo will be greatly apprciated.
Composite/analog video output using ADV7391 and support for BT.656 output in general
The RV1106 chip itself supports BT656 output; however, the Luckfox Pico series does not have dedicated pins exposed for BT656 output. We have not conducted any tests related to the ADV7391, and this is not covered by our technical support. The feasibility of this solution will need to be analyzed by you.
Honestly, from what the engineer said, this isn’t going to be a simple plug-and-play thing.
Yes, the RV1106 supports BT.656 in theory, but the problem is the Luckfox Pico board doesn’t expose those pins, so you’ve got nothing to actually connect your encoder (like the ADV7391) to.
