I have purchased the Luckfox PicoKVM Lightweight IP KVM.
MY setup:
App versiom 0.1.2
System Version 0.1.6
Original USB-C Raspberry Pi USB to Type-C Power Supply Adapter 5.1V 3A (Connected to Luckfox splitter USB-C Power)
Lindy USB-A to USB-C data cable (Connected to Luckfox splitter USB-C Data) for dual power and data.
The original Luckfox USB-C splitter cable sits in the PicoKVM USB-C port slightly high so not flush (Is this normal)?
The PicoKVM USB-C port seems is faulty.
Every time the PicoKVM unit is moved even slightly, the unit reboots. I can confirm it is the splitter cable USB-C to PicoKVM USB-C port connection which is faulty so highly sensitive, causing the unit to reboot when the PicoKVM unit is even slightly moved during normal use/handling.

The Type-C connector sitting slightly high when inserted is due to housing tolerances and is a normal phenomenon that does not affect connectivity.
I have tested with a 5V/3A power supply and have not observed a similar issue. It is recommended to try a different power supply for testing, and also to connect power directly to the PicoKVM to see if the same behavior occurs, in order to rule out any issue with the PicoKVM itself. If the problem does not occur when power is connected directly to the PicoKVM but still persists when using the USB-C splitter cable, it is very likely a cable issue. In that case, you may request a replacement cable from the seller you purchased it from.

I tested the Luckfox PicoKVM USB-C power/data port sensitivity issue without the Luckfox USB-C splitter cable by directly connecting an official Rasoberry Pi USB-C charger. The PicoKVM remains on and does not reboot when handled in normal use with the direct Raspberry Pi power. So the issue is with the Luckfox USB-C splitter cable.

I have emailed <[email protected]>,<[email protected]> explaining my test results requesting that they send me a replacement USB-C splitter cable that does not reboot the PicoKVM when attached where the PicoKVM Is handled in normal use.

Other than this The Luckfox PicoKVM is a great KVM with an amazing footprint. Without handling the PicoKVM so keeping it stationary to minimise usb-c splitter connection volatility I have SUCCESSFULLY tested its configuration over Ethernet, and the microsd storage virtual drive which allows situational Linux LiveUSB ISO booting for admin tasks. Initially I am impressed by the compact power and reach of the PicoKVM.
