Non eMMC board, no debug messages after reset

  • I actually managed to "fix" the problem by messing around with the RKDevTool. I tried to read chip info and changed storage just for the purpose of getting any response. Everything I did timed out. I pressed reset just for the sake of it and now it boots. I must have changed something in the MASKROM, unclear what (and what can you change in ROM anyway?)

    Thanks,

  • During the Maskrom stage, the bootrom program built into the chip is running. No relevant documentation has been made public for this part. The only thing i can confirm is that it initializes all storage interfaces and DDR interfaces in an attempt to find firmware or establish a USB connection.
