Hi there,

I am running Ubuntu 22.04 on my Luckfox Pico Ultra W, but for some reason although USB is set to Host through luckfox-config, my USB Memory Stick is never recognized.

I am powering up my Ultra W through USB-C + 20W USB Power adapter.

Can someone suggest what might be issue?

Hello, the CPU of Luckfox Pico Ultra (RV1106) only has one USB interface. When powered by USB-C, Luckfox Pico Ultra will automatically switch to USB-C. At this time, the USB-A interface cannot be used. You need to supply power to Luckfox Pico Ultra through pins or using PoE in order to use the USB-A interface.

What if I attach USB-C Hub to Pico Ultra W, which also has USB-C input for Power and couple of USB slots, will it work in that combination?

I powered it via poe still landed here.

I assume the Ubuntu images that are available now need some manual intervention here?

lsusb gives a completely empty result, even with sudo.

Hello, The "lsusb" command did not produce any output, indicating that the device mode was being used instead of the host mode. In the host mode, the USB 2.0 interface would be recognized as a device and would be displayed under "lsusb". You can use the "luckofx-config" tool to switch the USB to the host mode or directly modify the device tree.

That worked.

I when you tell it to switch the USB mode from device to host it tells you it will work after a reboot. And it did work after a reboot. It noiw shows 3 entries and my plugged in USB device among them.
