Dear Developers,

I am interested in your new PicoKVM device and have a question regarding its usage. What is the recommended way to power the device if the computer I want to control does not have a USB-C port? I am specifically referring to the case when I use a USB-C to USB-A converter. As I understand, USB-C is the only option for power supply, but using such a converter might not provide the required 5V/1A. For JetKVM, I have seen a special cable that allows for an external power source.

Do you provide a similar cable with PicoKVM, or is there an option to purchase one separately?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hello, In the future, we will launch a special USB-C cable. One of the connections can be used for powering the PicoKVM to keep it in operation, and the other one can be used to connect the controlled machine for communication.
