Hello Luckfox Team,

I recently purchased the 18.5" Luckfox portable monitor and overall I am very satisfied with the product. The image quality and build are great for the price.

However, one thing that bothers me is the bright blue screen that appears when there is no signal. In darker environments especially, the blue screen is quite distracting.

It would be much better (at least for me) if the monitor displayed a black screen instead when no signal is detected. A simple black screen would look cleaner and less intrusive.

I believe this would improve the user experience significantly.

Thank you very much for your kind feedback and for choosing our 18.5" portable monitor. We’re really glad to hear that you’re satisfied with the image quality and build.

Regarding the blue screen shown when there is no signal — thank you for pointing this out. Currently, the blue background is the default firmware behavior of the monitor control board.

Technically, it is possible for us to modify the firmware so that the monitor displays a black screen (with backlight on) instead of a blue screen when no signal is detected. We agree that in darker environments, a black screen would provide a cleaner and less distracting experience.

We will evaluate this improvement internally and verify it through testing. If the modification proves stable and feasible for release, we will consider providing a firmware update solution.
