Access KVM on vLAN

In the instructions it says "Access the PicoKVM IP on the same LAN".

Does that mean I can't access this via a routed vlan?
i.e. I have this device on a vlan (10.0.44.10), and I have the PC on the same vlan (10.0.44.11).

I have a rule in the firewall to allow traffic from the default network to the vlan
I can get from the PC to the KVM no issues, but that defeats the purpose of the KVM.
I can get from my default network (10.0.0.10) to the PC (10.0.44.11) no issues

I can NOT get from my default network (10.0.0.10) to the KVM (10.0.44.10)

Is there something stopping that from working?

Does that also mean when I VPN into my Ubiquiti UDMP, that I also wont be able to access the KVM because the client will have an IP on a different subnet than the KVM?

Network environment configuration can be quite complex, and based solely on your description, I am unable to determine the exact situation. Generally speaking, as long as the client can access port 80 of the PicoKVM's IP address, and the PicoKVM itself has outbound network permissions, a connection can usually be established. Being on the same subnet is not the only requirement for accessing the PicoKVM. I would suggest first checking whether 10.0.0.10 and 10.0.44.10 can ping each other successfully.
